Dalton Larson serves as an Associate Scientist of Chemistry at AURI, providing analytical chemistry and technical support for applied research and value-added agricultural innovation. His work includes laboratory analysis and characterization of agricultural materials and products, data interpretation, analytical instrumentation, and support for research projects across AURI’s focus areas.
Dalton brings a strong combination of laboratory expertise and practical agricultural experience. His technical background includes wet chemistry, quality assurance and quality control, sample preparation, data analysis, equipment calibration and troubleshooting, HPLC, and a range of analytical testing methods. His agricultural experience spans agricultural and food processing, grain grading and inspection, livestock, and agribusiness, giving him a practical understanding of agricultural materials and production systems from both the laboratory and operational perspectives.
At AURI, Dalton applies this combination of scientific and agricultural knowledge to help generate reliable analytical information that supports research, product development, and commercialization.
