Alan Isaac

Bioindustrial Director, Programs

About

Alan Isaac serves as AURI’s Bioindustrial Director, Programs, providing operational leadership across AURI’s bioindustrial portfolio. He works with AURI’s scientific and business development teams to turn strategic priorities and emerging opportunities into well-defined, executable programs and projects. His work spans portfolio and pipeline management, project planning and delivery, budgets and resources, client intake, and coordination with industry, government, university, nonprofit, and funding partners.

Alan brings more than 20 years of experience in agricultural and enterprise development, program management, and operations. Most recently, he spent 15 years with Land O’Lakes and its Venture37 global programs group, where he led complex agricultural development programs supporting farmers, agricultural enterprises, and cooperatives. His experience includes managing large, multi-partner initiatives from development and startup through implementation and closeout, along with budgeting and forecasting, performance monitoring, funder compliance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

Alan holds a master’s degree in International Development Studies from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and previously served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Morocco.
