USDA Rural Development to Officially Award $99,000 Recovery Act Grant to AURI in Crookston for Biomass Processing.
ST. PAUL, Minn. – Colleen Landkamer, State Director of USDA Rural Development, will visit the Agricultural Utilization Research Institute (AURI) in Crookston at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 1 to officially award a $99,000 grant. AURI will use the grant to provide technical assistance to biomass projects in 11 counties throughout rural Minnesota. The funding is estimated to help create 19.5 jobs and save 12.5 positions.
