AURI and Minnesota Soybean Host Educational Session and Real-Time Demonstration About the Use of Soy-Based Asphalt Shingle Rejuvenates

Join the Agricultural Utilization Research Institute (AURI) and the Minnesota Soybean Research & Promotion Council (MSR&PC) at a free educational and demonstration event on Tuesday, July 21, in Breezy Point, Minnesota, to show the environmental and biobased benefits of applying a soy-based asphalt shingle rejuvenate product to extend the life of roof shingles.

At this event, AURI, MSR&PC, and Roof Maxx of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, will:

  • Discuss the environmental advantages of using a soy methyl ester emulsion (SMEE) on roof shingles.
  • Conduct a real-time demonstration of the SMEE application.
  • Provide information on the use of roofing rejuvenates on commercial products.
  • Share the resultant opportunity to increase use of soybeans.
