Nan Larson

Nan Larson is the AURI Connects Manager. AURI’s Innovation Network Program is a systems approach to integrate scientific assistance, development and research, business planning, and targeted network outreach to assist businesses that will produce value-added ag commodities and products.

Larson identifies and evaluates opportunities to advance AURI’s value-added ag research initiatives, builds partnerships, and coordinates various events to make AURI’s research available and advance value-added agriculture in Minnesota. She also serves as a spokesperson for AURI to promote its mission, goals, services and outcomes on a statewide basis, and presents information on value added ag opportunities to the public.

Larson has a B.S. in Political Science/Public Administration and an M.A. in Urban and Regional Studies from Minnesota State at Mankato and is a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional by the National Development Council. She has a 30-year working history in the economic development field, with an emphasis on strategic partnering, facilitation, planning, and management. Larson is also a member of MN Agricultural and Rural Leadership (MARL) Class X.
