Kim Hintz of Agribank appointed to Agricultural Utilization Research Institute board

Kim Hintz, senior lending officer at Agribank, has been appointed to represent agribusiness on the Board of Directors of the Agricultural Utilization Research Institute (AURI). AURI collaboration featured in Prairie Business Magazine

Minnesota officials visit AURI clients

On Monday, June 30, U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar visited Smude Oil in Pierz, Minnesota. Smude Oil produces cold-pressed, high oleic sunflower oil. AURI has helped with product development, nutritional analysis, and labeling for several of their products. The business recently expanded into a 22,000 square-foot warehouse space, where four part-time employees can press, bottle and ship the oil.
