AURI programs and services are delivered to residents of southeastern Minnesota through the institute’s office in Waseca. The Southeast Field Office includes Mankato, Rochester and the seven county metropolitan area in its 22 county territory.

The region's diverse agricultural commodities include dairy, hogs, corn, soybeans, alfalfa, and more.

The Waseca office also includes AURI’s co-products utilization lab. This facility helps develop products from such low value items as crop residue, animal manures and food processing waste.

The Southeast Office is also home to the AURI Communications department, which promotes the organization, clients and shares information on value added agriculture in Minnesota.
