AURI to Begin National Search

Julie Bleyhl, chair of the AURI board of directors, has announced that a national search is underway for a new executive director. Current director Patricia Jensen has announced she is leaving AURI June 30, to become vice president and dean of agricultural affairs for North Dakota State University in Fargo.

"Ms. Jensen has been a leader in international, national and state-level agricultural affairs," says NDSU president Dr. Thomas Plough. "Her combined public-private sector agricultural perceptions are especially welcome in our changing agricultural sector in North Dakota. She has been an influential player in agricultural affairs for more than 20 years."

Jensen's new responsibilities include leadership of the College of Agriculture, North Dakota Extension Service, the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station and the Northern Crops Institute.
