Image of Schatz Executive Coordinator SANDY SCHATZ joined AURI in 1994, providing support for and coordinating activities between the executive director and the board.
Image of Bartholomay DAVID BARTHOLOMAY is AURI's deputy director for planning and development and acts as AURI's legislative liaison. He joined AURI at the beginning of last year and is based in the St. Paul office.
Image of Rasmussen MELONI RASMUSSEN, Institute service specialist, has been with AURI since its inception in 1989. Rasmussen aids clients with contracts, insurance and inventory.
Image of Mulcahy RENEE MULCAHY is AURI's chief financial officer. Mulcahy joined the organization in 1992 and manages accounting, budgets and financial assets.
Image of Miller CORKY MILLER directs AURI's technology efforts as information specialist. Miller has managed the Institute's computer and communications network since 1990.
Image of Fournier Information systems technician MARIE FOURNIER assists in computer system development and maintains AURI's web site.
Image of Christianson DONNA CHRISTIANSON, contractual services specialist, drafts program guidelines and oversees compliance with contract terms and repayment. Christianson joined AURI in 1993.
Image of Magsam TOBY MAGSAM provides a cheerful voice and helping hand as secretary/receptionist at AURI's Crookston office. Magsam joined AURI three months ago.
Image of Sorenson BRENT SORENSON heads up AURI's Northern Field Office. Sorenson, who holds a doctorate in agronomy, joined the Crookston-based office as general manager in February 1997.
Image of Rock Program specialist JEAN ROCK manages client contracts and serves as contact person for funded projects from the northern region. Rock joined AURI in 1994.
Image of Sparby General manager MICHAEL SPARBY leads the efforts of AURI's Central Field Office in Morris, serving 24 counties in Minnesota. Sparby assesses opportunities for commercializing new ag products; he joined AURI in 1996.
Image of Norris MAX NORRIS is AURI's scientist conducting research into new uses for crop oils and animal fats. Norris also manages AURI patents and intellectual property.
Image of Johnson Waste Utilization Manager JACK JOHNSON conducts research into waste utilization and provides engineering services. Based in Waseca, Johnson assists in new uses for byproducts like crop residue, food waste, manures and animal mortalities.
Image of Olson STEVE OLSON covers 22 counties in southwestern Minnesota as general manager for the Southwest Field Office in Marshall.
Image of Larson NANCY LARSON, program specialist in Marshall and a certified economic development professional by the National Development Council, provides client support. Larson joined AURI in September of 1997.
Image of Eichens Office manager LOUISE EISCHENS assists both field office and technical staff in the Southwest Office in Marshall. She has been with AURI since 1990.
Image of Gillett TED GILLETT supports AURI clients as meat technologist. Based in Marshall, Gillett assists in product development and training for Minnesota meat producers.
Image of Crawford JERRY CRAWFORD is an analytical chemist at the Marshall lab and contributes analytical support for research done at all AURI facilities.
Image of Patzer ROSE PATZER, a chemical product technologist, lends her expertise on a number of research projects. She works out of AURI's Marshall laboratory.
Image of Bjerkness KAI BJERKNESS joined the St. Paul office in July, as resource and development specialist and manager of the urban youth, value-added ag project.

JENNY EGGERSDORFER came on board as administrative assistant for the St. Paul office in July 1997.

Communications Director DAN LEMKE joined AURI in 1995 with a background in television journalism. He updates the news media on AURI-supported ventures and assists clients with promotional needs.

SUE ROSENAU provides support for both the Waseca office and the Minnesota Extension Service.
