Resolved to go forward

About now, many of us are making resolutions for the upcoming year. And as we all know, resolutions are easy to make. Sticking to them -- that's the hard part.

While our personal goals may have changed many times over the past decade, AURI's resolve to improve Minnesota's economy through new uses and new markets for agricultural products has not. It is a mission that is as fresh today as the day it was created nine years ago.

Over the years, AURI's impact on Minnesota agriculture has been impressive. We've invested millions of dollars and countless hours of technical assistance into projects. The ventures we support create jobs, utilize commodities and keep the rural economy strong. It's a cycle that pays economic dividends for everyone in Minnesota.

During the year ahead, AURI resolves to work even better and smarter to add value to our crops and keep agriculture profitable in this state.

Joining the information highway, revitalizing our focus on working with universities and other research institutions, streamlining our processes and partnering alongside new farm cooperatives are all part of our continued resolve.

We will continue to be a leader in research, funding and technical services to help entrepreneurs, ag businesses and commodity groups prosper in Minnesota. That's our mission, and our resolution.
