Eichten's Hidden Acres is a family owned company that has been making award-winning Dutch cheese since 1976. Our cheese is made from fresh cow's milk that comes directly from the dairy farm to the cheese vat. Which means it is farm direct, and farm fresh.

Our #1 cheese is Dutch Gouda, mild or aged. Gouda is also available in a variety of flavors, such as Tomato Basil, Herb N' Spice, and Peppercorn Garlic. As our family of customers has grown, so has our product line. Eichten's has continued to develop new favorites such as Mary's Danish-Style Tilsit, a true ripened cheese treat. Other favorites include our Baby Swiss, White Cheddar, and gourmet Dutch Gouda Spreads.

What makes our cheese so special is the extra care we put into the production. We do all the work by hand in small batches for quality and consistency, in an open vat which is identical to the way cheese is made on the farms in Holland and throughout Europe. All of our cheese is aged 60 days or longer. The longer the aging period, the sharper the taste. We offer wheels, cuts, and spreads, which come in a variety of sizes and flavors.

Over the years, customers have asked for a variety of pure and healthy foods, and as a result, we have expanded into American Bison, raised naturally on our farm.Our herd is fed naturally grown, pesticide-free native grasses, corn and oats. They are raised without growth hormones.
