The Little Duster I, II and Commercial
are manufactured in Minnesota by privately owned and operated KRP Enterprises, Inc. The
Little Dusters are dust suppression devices that apply the proper amount of food grade oil
to grain to reduce the amount of dust during handling and drying.
The Little Duster I and II dust suppression system can be
installed on your combine or portable auger and will apply oil (vegetable or mineral) to
your grain. This is accomplished as the grain passes through the unloading auger of your
combine to the truck or through your portable auger as it is filling your storage bins.
The Little Duster I is a cost affordable, complete
system that installs totally on the combine. It is designed and engineered to last the
life of your combine. It is manufactured with commercial grade components and has a 2-year
warranty on parts.
Vegetable oil such as soy oil, corn oil, or mineral oil can
be used in this unit. Your equipment will last longer, run smoother, reduce rust, and you
will see reduced grain damage and loss. Without the Little Duster I, you lose
approximately 1.4 bushels per 1,000 bushels every time you move your grain.
The Little Duster II is a portable application
system. Farmers: If you hire your combining and your custom operator does not have a
system on his combine, you can purchase a portable system that will install on the auger
or grain handling equipment used to fill your storage bins.
Typical applications would include feed installations such
as portable mixmills, permanent hammermills, portable or permanent augers, etc. Special
prices on additional applications are available and will be determined by your individual
needs.
Livestock Owners: For the control of grain dust in farm
storage and ground feed bins, a new concept has been developed to improve the environment
for you and your livestock. Pork producers have seen an improved weight gain on their hogs
while improving their working environment at the same time.
The Little Duster Commercial Unit is a unique,
cost-effective way to control airborne dust inside your bins, legs, and conveyors. By
controlling dust with an oil application system, you will increase employee safety,
improve working conditions, decrease cleaning expenses, and decrease the wear on your
equipment.
